Neck pain & cervical radiculopathy
Desk-and-phone neck, headaches that start at the base of the skull, and the pinched nerve that sends pain or numbness into the arm and hand.
Two different problems
Plain neck pain is usually a mobility and endurance problem: stiff upper back, weak deep neck muscles, a shoulder blade that doesn’t do its job. Cervical radiculopathy is a nerve root being compressed or irritated, and it shows up as pain, tingling, or weakness in a specific part of the arm or hand.
What we do
For the first, hands-on work and dry needling to the upper traps and levator scapulae give fast relief, and strength work makes it last. For the nerve, we find the positions that decompress it, restore movement in the upper back, and rebuild load tolerance gradually. Most people don’t need injections or surgery.
Sleep, screens, and the drive
We’ll cover the pillow, the monitor height, and the commute. They matter, but they’re rarely the whole story.
