What to expect from your first dry needling session
How it works, what it feels like, who it's for, and what the next day looks like. Straight answers before you book.

Before
We go through your history and I’ll explain exactly which muscles I want to treat and why. Wear clothes that let me reach them. If you’re on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a needle phobia, tell me and we’ll decide together whether this is the right tool today.
During
A thin, sterile, single-use filament needle goes into the trigger point. You’ll feel a quick twitch or a deep ache that fades within seconds. That twitch is the muscle resetting. Each spot takes under a minute, and a session usually treats three to six spots.
After
Expect to feel looser right away. The next day you’ll be a little sore, like after a hard workout. Move, walk, drink water, and skip the max-effort lift for 24 hours.
How it fits the plan
Dry needling opens a window where the muscle stops guarding. What we put through that window, the strength and movement work, is what makes the change stick. It’s a tool inside your plan, not the plan.
